East Kent Photography
I am based near Sandwich in Kent and I have been a passionate photographer for more years than I care to remember.
I enjoy taking photographs in a modern reportage style where people are relaxed and at ease, and then add a creative angle that captures the mood and atmosphere of the occasion. This is achieved by working closely with the bride and groom through the planning stages and on the day itself engaging with the guests to catch those key moments and record the celebrations.
You should not underestimate the importance of your photographer - they are a key aspect of the day and should be ever present whilst blending in, friendly but always professional.
Your memories and your photographs will last forever so choose a photographer that you can work with and who understands you and your needs.
I aim to deliver the beautiful images that you want in a style that is breathtaking and appealing to all.
Digital Photographer of the Year ( Twice Nominated)
I have twice been runner up in leading photography magazine competitions to find their digital photographer of the year. It was disappointing not to win on each occasion but still a great honour to have come so close from the thousands of entries. Maybe it will be third time lucky to win the big prize!
Daily Telegraph "Big Picture" Travel Photography Competition
The prize for the competition winner was a digital camera and a half page spread in the Saturday edition of the Daily Telegraph.
John Lewis Travel Photography Competition
This was the first competition I won as a photographer with a stunning photograph of the Bramante staircase in the Vatican in Rome.
Kent Life Magazine Photography Competition
I was fortunate enough to win the Kent section of the British countryside competition Kent region. Part of the prize was a full feature of my photography in the magazine Kent Life.
I have also won another 8 international photography competitions which attract thousands of entries.
Featured Artist on the BBC
I was thrilled when the BBC did an artist feature on my fine art work on their web page.
